Sr OEM Sales Representative
Western Coast Laboratory Automation (San Diego or San Francisco),
This role will take on a multifaceted role that will require leadership, relationship building, flexibility and drive.
We're looking for an experienced Sr. OEM Sales Representative to develop our Partners and End Users, territory and implement our sales strategy.
What you are doing day to day
At a high level, you will be responsible in effectively managing your territory and customers.
From a roles and responsibilities perspective that means you'll be doing the following:
- Responsible for leading customer relationships at multiple levels to ensure successful completion and execution of orders.
- Implement and run an efficient sales strategy
- Providing regular and realistic sales forecasts and maintaining accurate opportunity status in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Completing our Sales Process (customer identification to contract closing)
- Actively identifying new prospects and customers in addition to growing business in existing accounts
- Interacting at a strategic level with your Manager on key business issues to address the market needs and analysis
- Visiting customers regularly to promote strategic relationships and to identify new business opportunities
Working with us
This will be a full-time position, with regular travel to visit prospects, existing customers and to attend trade-shows and other customer-facing events.

Qualifications
As a successful Sr. OEM Sales Representative, you know that demeanor and motivation is key to achieving goals. You will represent the company at all levels of a customer organization and will be able to handle confidential information with integrity. You have the skill of building positive relationships with the business unit teams that support you in the field such as Marketing, Order Coordination, Finance and Service.
In addition to the above, we also expect that the right candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or equivalent (preferred).
- Consistent track record of sales achievements within or related to OEM business in Laboratory Automation, large capital equipment or related products; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in selling to Partners, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations, companies in the Genomic field and large academic research organizations
- Experience using a CRM system daily. Salesforce experience an advantage
- Established positive reputation within our customer base
- Ability to travel >50%. A valid Driver's License and passport without restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Oregon is $104,600.00-$139,450.00.
