Skills & Experience required:

Top 3 Must Have:
1. Enterprise Routing, Enterprise Switching, Data Center Switching/Routing
2. Experience with Ixia and other tools used for network infrastructure testing
3. Ability to document testing results in bank formats

• BA or BS in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Communications or Computer Science.

• 10 years of experience in Data Networking.

• Hands-on experience in Data Center Device Communication and automation across vendor platforms (CISCO, Juniper, Arista primarily)

• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN networking in data center environments

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Routing and Switching protocols including but not limited to BGP, EIGRP, OSPF

• Knowledge of VMWare Virtualization

• Experience with configuration and support of complex multi-layered network environment involving L3 three-tiered, L2, and spine/leaf architectures.

• Excellent customer service skills including reporting, organization, written and oral communication and task prioritization

• Must be highly motivated and a self-directed individual

• Participate in cross-functional teams and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team

• Experience working under tight deadlines and high pressure environment

• Capable of quickly learning new technologies and procedures, as well as being willing to train others in procedures mastered as part of documentation efforts

• CCNP certified

• Experience with scripting in Python a plus
