Team Lead, Network Operations Center (NOC) & IT Systems Engineer
In this dynamic role, you'll:
- Execute a variety of in-house IT projects with support from our NOC, SOC, Database, and Helpdesk teams.
- Serve as a Level 3 engineer for Managed Services clients, working with client-facing service desk operations.
- Mentoring junior systems engineers across U.S. and offshore locations, providing 24/7/365 support for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Work with systems engineers across U.S. and offshore locations, ensuring 24/7/365 coverage for client network infrastructure.
- Act as the hands-on senior team member for client-facing service desk operations, collaborating with customers, the Project Management Office (PMO), and offshore team leads to track SLAs, communications, processes, and reporting.
Network & Systems Administration:
- Manage the virtual server environment, disaster recovery solutions, and Microsoft Azure/AD/365 ecosystems. Perform daily monitoring and administration of networks, servers, and desktops, including Active Directory (DNS/DHCP/Group Policy) and user account management (adds, changes, deletes).
- Maintain corporate switches, firewalls, VPNs, routers, and wireless networking components.
- Administer Windows-based servers (2008 R2 - 2025) for daily maintenance and ensure data security across network devices, addressing threats like viruses, malware, and compliance issues.
Project & Technical Support:
- Execute system builds (desktops, laptops, servers), application installations, patch management, and cloud migrations.
- Provide technical assessments, process documentation, and user training on desktop/network software and mobile devices.
- Manage system backups, perform data restores, and assist with software inventory and licensing compliance.
Client Collaboration:
- Deliver exceptional support to Managed Services clients, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication. Travel up to 20% (local and out-of-state) to provide onsite collaboration and support for clients.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of support services experience managing corporate networks, including firewalls, switches, and routers (S2S tunnels, configurations, security, monitoring), with expertise in at least one of: Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Aruba, Sonic Wall, Fortigate.
- 5+ years of support services experience in Microsoft Azure/365/Windows, including Active Directory services, in a lead administrative operations role.
- Exposure to Single-Sign On (SSO) and Identity Management concepts (Okta preferred).
- Knowledge of Windows Desktop applications, Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2025, and Microsoft Office/365/InTune.
- Familiarity with wireless networking components and technologies like Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sonicwall, or Aruba.
- Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Candidates with equivalent professional experience and certifications will be considered.
