JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary interface with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure timely closure of Incidents, Changes, and Change Tasks in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for the NOC, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement new network and security solutions across both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving cybersecurity threats to support continuous improvement of network operations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for the NOC; participate in monthly operational incident review meetings.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of resolved incidents and implement proactive monitoring and mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and maintain custom scripts for automating network performance data collection and generating analysis reports.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot network outages, providing timely diagnosis and resolution; communicate effectively with high-level customers regarding status and next steps.
  • Adhere to Change Control processes and participate in the Network Operations On-Call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring systems, wireless technologies, security practices, and routing protocols in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with operational technology (OT) systems and protocols commonly used in the oil and gas industry (e.g., SCADA, PLCs) is preferred.
  • Understanding of OT cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST 800-82, Purdue Model for ICS) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
