Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sr Network Administrator to manage multiple high-availability Data Centers (DCs). The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, securing, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. You will ensure seamless network performance across data centers, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for network security and scalability.
Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and routing/switching infrastructure across data centers.
  • Maintain a zero-trust security model, implementing strict access controls, multi-factor authentication, and least-privilege principles
  • Configure and maintain Versa, Aruba/Cisco/Juniper/Arista, or equivalent network hardware
  • Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
  • Perform regular network performance tuning, capacity planning, and load balancing.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the Data Center team on network provisioning, rack planning, and cable management.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
  • Perform disaster recovery planning, failover configuration, and redundancy testing.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for escalated network issues.
  • Assist in upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management of network components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Systems Engineering.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Technical Directors and/or other appropriate administrators
  • Monitor network health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in network administration, preferably in a multi-site or data center environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with IP address management (IPAM) and subnetting.
  • Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Industry certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $140,000 to $190,000. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
