Duration - 2 yearsJOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking Sr MuleSoft Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MuleSoft development, experience with APIs, data integration, and a deep understanding of integration best practices. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity between systems, helping drive efficiency and innovation within our IT infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned) - Solution Design: Work with architects and business analysts to design integration solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with architecture guidelines and scalability needs.
- MuleSoft Development: Develop and implement APIs, integrations, and workflows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Mule ESB to connect various systems, including databases, SaaS applications, and internal platforms.
- API Management: Create, manage, and secure APIs using API Manager, applying best practices for API design, monitoring, and versioning.
- Data Transformation: Build robust data transformation and orchestration logic to support data migration, synchronization, and ETL processes.
- Monitoring: Error notification and monitoring
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop unit tests and conduct integration testing to ensure robust and reliable solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and APIs.
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations and support the establishment of standards and best practices within the team.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize integration performance and scalability, employing best practices for error handling, security, and compliance.
- Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to provide guidance, share expertise, and support the overall integration strategy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and independently solving software engineering problems
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in integration development, with 3+ years specifically in MuleSoft development.
- Proficient in Mule 3 and Mule 4, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Integration Patterns: Strong understanding of integration patterns, data transformation, and error handling strategies.
- API Development: Experience in RESTful API design, SOAP services, and message-oriented middleware.
- Languages & Tools: Strong knowledge of Java, DataWeave, SQL, XML, and JSON.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and DevOps principles for deployment and management.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Capability to establish a continuous development and continuous delivery framework for application integration and data solutions.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide implementations, specifically for tech transfer platforms like Wellspring Sophia.
- Proficiency in developing architecture diagrams, managing data conversion, and integrations using MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of corporate, financial, and IT standards, including architecture, compliance, and security.
