Key Responsibilities
-Team Management: Leading and mentoring a team, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
-Operational Oversight: Ensuring that daily operations align with company policies and procedures.
-Strategic Planning: Collaborating with upper management to develop strategies for improving productivity and efficiency.
-Problem Solving: Addressing any issues that arise within the team or operations and implementing solutions.
-Training and Development: Identifying training needs and facilitating professional development for team members.
-Communication: Serving as a liaison between upper management and staff, ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
-Reporting: Preparing reports on team performance, operational metrics, and other relevant data for management review.
-Ability to complete Go Gen training class
-Must be able to develop Kaizen improvement throughout the area and implement Kaizen projects.
Skills and Experience
-High school diploma or GED. 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Strong ability to motivate and lead a team.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
-Proficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
-Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Preferred Skills and Experience
-Previous Manufacturing Experience
-Paint and Weld Experience
-Experience with MES production systems
-Leadership Training
Working Conditions
This role is situated within the manufacturing facility. Must have the ability to work in hot, cold, and loud environments.
