Job Summary: Sr. Manager, US Finance role is responsible for the direct business partner support of the US Commercial business unit.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities: - As the primary financial steward of the US business unit, proactively provide management with forecast insights, performance metrics and financial analytics for improved organizational decision making. This includes the ability to clearly synthesize P&L changes vs. AOP, prior forecasts, prior year, and other quarters within the year. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure that the US market is commercially and financially structured to deliver against corporate financial objectives.
- As a strategic advisor and co-pilot to the US leadership team, this role is responsible and accountable for accelerating the U.S. business, capturing share, and delivering commercial, financial, and operational objectives. This role will bring forward business insights, disruptive ideas, and clear action plans necessary to enable business growth.
- Responsible for the development and management of process and analytics that results in the successful completion of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP), and quarterly forecast updates. This includes the zero-based planning and system reconciliation of (but not limited to):
- Consumption and Net Sales (Brand and Channel)
- Headcount and related costs (including T&E)
- CapEx / Depreciation
- Sales & Marketing / Program Spend
- Vendor Services / Consulting / Professional Services / Maintenance Agreements
- US Employee Benefit Expense
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a detailed revenue reconciliation and forecast process that bridges the various brand, customer, and channel sales forecasts, resulting in clear expectations on business unit sales potential.
- Partnering with channel sales and operations leaders, construct monthly order tracker files that outline daily customer order expectations that allow the business to track performance against monthly targets.
- Develop an in depth understanding of the OpEx and CapEx structure of the US business unit, continually seeking opportunities for cost efficiencies and optimizing capital allocation. This includes the development of detailed fixed vs. variable and cash vs. non-cash cost analyses.
- Through a deep understanding of sales channels and product portfolio, it is the expectation that this role advises sales leadership on area of business opportunity, helping the team exploit the opportunities through strategic counsel and data analytics.
- The candidate must display an ability to take large amounts of complex data and synthesize it into formats acceptable for executive consumption to facilitate the decision-making process.
- Develop and in depth understanding of the US contact lens market, including preparation and analysis of market share performance and competitor financial results.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee financial analyses as it relates to ad-hoc requests and/or ongoing corporate objectives.
- As a member of the Americas Finance Leadership Team, it is expected that this role will provide strategic leadership and counsel to advance the initiatives of the organization.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High degree of proficiency in Hyperion EPM suite of products
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles, specifically around depreciation accounting and prepaid expenses
- Demonstrated ability to independently research, analyze and interpret data
- Extremely detail oriented and highly organized
- Experience dealing with multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)

Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a finance leadership role at a multinational organization
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA preferred

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $ 123,827 and $ 176,896 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
