As part of Red Bull's category management strategy within our Operations business unit, you will oversee all aspects of assigned categories, including Marketing and Media. Your responsibilities include developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and aligning with internal stakeholders to meet business goals and requirements. As a Senior Manager, you will lead negotiations and support the business to achieve the optimal balance of quality and cost. By utilizing structured sourcing processes, you will drive evaluations and identify creative opportunities for strategic partnerships that foster growth and ensure seamless business continuity. This role offers technical guidance and advice on a wide range of procurement processes and issues. As a key connector and collaborator between departments, you will ensure decisions have a balanced business impact.

Job Description

Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management

Support the Procurement strategy to reduce costs and drive efficiencies through optimization of sourcing materials and services (within Marketing & Media).

Drive cost savings initiatives and assist in the identification and execution of strategies.

Execute high-level supplier strategies to leverage and optimize relationships.

Source new suppliers and manage existing supplier base.

Conduct root cause analysis for supplier performance issues, drive corrective actions, and issue resolution.

Provide reports to monitor spend, identify trends and opportunities, and aid in supplier performance activities.

Responsible for managing all areas of supplier performance (setting expectations, issue resolution, development, continuous improvement, KPI measurement, etc.)

Management of the complete contract lifecycle from negotiation through execution.

Manage assigned categories and projects to ensure execution on time and within the budget.

Cross-Functional Partnerships

Align with Red Bull HQ as required or where potential opportunities exist.

Engage key departments of spend (Marketing/Media) and drive opportunities for value.

Provide first line of communication with assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with the Risk Management, Finance, and Legal Teams to reduce risks associated with materials and services.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Procurement or Marketing/Media with experience in negotiation & supplier relationship management

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related field

CPM/CPSM and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred

Functional understanding, awareness, and application of Negotiations, RFX, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Supplier Management principles relating to Marketing/Media procurement

Develop and execute procurement strategies with suppliers, including on-going negotiations, pricing, key supply chain metrics improvement, and day-to-day support of efficient supply chain operations

Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate complex procurement data

Understanding of problem solving and knowledge of root cause analysis tools

Proven conflict resolution, negotiation, and influence skills with strong relationship-building skills.

Strong systems acumen (SAP/Oracle, Business Intelligence, Microsoft Suite Excel, PowerPoint , etc.)

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $102,480 to $153,720 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
