Hybrid Schedule: 2-3 Days in Office RequiredJob Description SummaryKey Competencies Understanding Retail and Various Retail Channel environments, Influence and Negotiation, Financial Acumen and Data /Analytics, Consumer/Customer focus, Planning and Priority setting, Product Development Innovation, Communication
Duties & Responsibilities Creation of the commercial activation and innovation plan for the core business and new concepts
- Research on consumer trends, market trends and competitor monitoring
- Execution of the annual innovation review in partnership with the US and Global Product Development team
- Lead product development activities to include recipe, packaging, price, etc from partnership with sourcing, quality and operations to the launch of mandatory testing and implementation in market
- Collaboration with the global team, partnering on successes and validation for recipe adjustments as well as calculation of sales and volume forecasts
- Delivery of the launch and communication plans, providing toolkits to Operations for a successful launch to include monitoring and management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) on the existing range and innovations; elevate trends as needed
Management of the existing item launch in support and collaboration across multiple commercial corners
- Mastery of the 4 Ps (product, price, packaging, place/merch) on the existing commercial platform
- Validation of assortment recommendations by retailers looking at sales performance and margin KPIs
- Lead with regards to pricing strategies in relation to product performance and material costs
Responsible for product teams on strategic projects
- Take the lead on strategic calls for sourcing across the product landscape, i.e. fresh and frozen salmon, tuna, etc.
- Coordinate key projects to include monitoring product cycle, updating production algorithm

QualificationsQualifications - 5+ years' relevant experience in product development, with a track record of successful product launches
- Ability to create a data driven, execution strategy aligned to the commercial strategy and executing goals to ensure financial and strategic success
- Understanding of retail strategy and execution across multiple environments and channels
- Must have proven leadership skills in conjunction with analysis, problem solving, and innovation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Suite and other business related programs to drive the business
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% as required
- Strong grasp of Hana Group standards, mission and core values
