Job Description:

L3 Harris is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence leader with a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, data governance/warehousing and operational insights to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with business intelligence platforms (ideally Power BI) and data structures and will bring a keen analytical mindset to help transform complex data into actionable insights. They will identify and develop metrics by working with users and stakeholders to understand data visualization and reporting requirements. This role requires the ability to lead a team of business intelligence analysts with strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (including executives) to drive data-driven decision-making.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead the development, design, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for business operations
  • Model, extract, transform, and analyze data from Snowflake, Palantir, and other data sources to enable effective visualization and reporting
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions
  • Maintain data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
  • Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Support self-service analytics initiatives, empowering business users with data access and visualization tools
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend data-driven strategies to enhance business efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and program management to ensure BI solutions align with business objectives
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, and visualization
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant Business Intelligence/ data analytics experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant Business Intelligence/ data analytics experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of relevant Business Intelligence / data analytics experience
  • 2 + years' experience working with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • 2+ years of people leadership/management experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams to influence outcomes
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments to deliver meaningful insights
  • Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Palantir, and Alteryx
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and present data-driven insights.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address business challenges with data
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing datasets
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain industries
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing best practices
  • Experience working in an agile environment with data engineering and analytics teams
