About the role
The Sr. Manager, Field Education Programs is responsible for leading the content design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that align with store initiatives and strategic goals. This role requires curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, and program assessment expertise to ensure impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep knowledge of stores, strong product knowledge expertise, and delivers internal and external customer excellence. Has the ability to manage complex educational field initiatives and collaborate across departments and external partners. Works closely with the Field Educational Content Designer to bring education and product knowledge to life and influence driving sales.
Key Responsibilities
Field Program Development & Execution: To meet organizational objectives and develop, implement, and oversee field educational programs and product knowledge initiatives for stores
Educational Field Content Development: Oversees the design and organization of field training materials to enhance store learning. It includes researching and structuring content that aligns with educational field objectives and audience needs to deliver high-quality content.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices in field education and training to create reports, presentations, and documentation that effectively communicate program impact and outcomes to leadership
Assessment & Evaluation: Assess and evaluate the program's effectiveness using data-driven analysis and stakeholder feedback
Innovation & Operational Management: Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient program execution
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with external collaborators and work with internal teams to enhance field program goals and objectives
Leadership & Team Development: Cultivate a dynamic culture of innovation and excellence to inspire and empower store teams, achieve sustainable outcomes, and shape future field education needs/programs
Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Instructional Design, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in program management, project management, field education, training, or a related area,
Experience in a corporate setting preferred
Cosmetology License preferred
Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale field educational initiatives
Strong knowledge of content development, instructional design, and learning platforms
Drives innovation and creativity for large-scale field education initiatives
Excellent leadership, project management, planning, and organizational skills to influence and motivate teams
Analyzes data, measures program success, and drives continuous improvement with strong attention to detail
Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including educators and industry experts
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Embraces change management to adapt and shift direction as needed quickly
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), educational technology tools, and project management software
Intermediate experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Working conditions & physical requirements
The typical working environment is in the support center office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the associate may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks and activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.
While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions. These precautions, typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring the safety and comfort of our associates.
