This role will define direction of hardware and software consumed by team members at our RSC as well as above restaurant field leadership. This role will lead and define the architecture and engineering efforts for end-user platform solutions for Brinker International. They will ensure the delivery of these solutions with minimal impact on team members and further support our goal of technology excellence and optimizing the digital experience for our organization.Your Key Job Functions Manage and lead engineering team to deliver an optimized productivity platform and exceptional digital experience (Desktop/laptop hardware configuration, OS platform upgrades, productivity software solutions, end-user management, client software deployment, antivirus systems, and imaging design and engineering, etc ) Responsible for Microsoft O365 optimization and updates including driving value from the product suite. Engage with the business to increase productivity and utilization. Responsible for tactical and strategic leadership of Level 1 and Level 2 support/engineering functions Govern and oversee image/application development and compatibility testing of packages on various computer platforms. You will be leading the desktop management team whose responsibilities include packaging and deploying applications, OSD Imaging, VDI and related third-level support. Custom virtualized, secure workstation platforms with extensive hardening and controls. Intune (MEM) and SCCM engineering for Autopilot, ESP, WDAC, driver management, application packaging, security, and feature updates JAMF administration for iOS devices in restaurants Manage variety of supported O/S deployed in organization (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) Manage desktop engineers that provide imaging, desktop management, and application development deliverables to all the laptops and desktops across the firm. You will also manage vendor relationships to troubleshoot issues and provide support and service to end users. Management of Microsoft Azure Active Directory Modern Management from legacy AD domain joined environments, including GPO translation and conversion and ongoing support. Protect the desktop environment by evaluating and determining how to react to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and industry risks using tools provided by IT Security. Leverage advanced workstation analytics, develop proactive solutions, and ensure comprehensive compliance using multiple enablement systems and tools. Enforce service levels and service offerings for end-user computing, including technology platforms, distribution, and deployment. You will approve and enforce processes and procedures for end user software technology platforms, distribution, and deployment. Report directly to the Brinker IT Service Operations Director, with responsibility for 30,000 end points. Understand and anticipate new technologies, capabilities, and the potential impact, both positive and negative, to our workstation platforms. Manage hardware and software lifecycles associated with laptops, management platforms, collaboration tools, applications, O/S, as well as Audio/Video solutions deployed in our RSC Maintain within N-2 of all application versions residing on infrastructure Maintain currency with OS version within N-1 Manage Ring Central PBX solution for restaurants (onboard/offboard accounts, troubleshooting, escalation to supplier) Manage Ring Central Call Center software for RSC support teams (onboard/offboard accounts, phone deployment, troubleshooting, escalation to supplier) Manage Teams/O365/Sharepoint Online, OneDrive - troubleshoot, configure, deploy, account mgmt., user mgmt.
