We're looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations for our client. This role supports strategic alignment between a leading streaming service and a partner platform as part of broader marketing efforts within the streaming media industry. The ideal candidate will help evolve the service's marketing strategy, ensure operational consistency, and deliver actionable performance insights. This position involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders across strategy, analytics, creative, and media to improve planning efficiency, enhance reporting, and enable seamless cross-platform integration.
This is a four-month project opportunity with the potential to extend. The role is hybrid, located in Burbank, with the option to work in Santa Monica on Wednesdays.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop the streaming service's fiscal year marketing strategy with a focus on bundle partnerships and performance impact
- Maintain and refine shared marketing calendars, campaign priorities, and coordination with the partner platform
- Deliver campaign performance reports and actionable insights; recommend strategic adjustments and share optimizations across teams
- Align measurement frameworks and campaign briefing processes between platforms to ensure consistency
- Create executive-level reports, including monthly summaries of key initiatives for leadership within the entertainment and technology space
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve planning tools such as Airtable and marketing mix modeling (MMM) systems
- Establish scalable structures for prioritization, briefing, and tracking campaign effectiveness across marketing functions
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, media planning, business consulting, or marketing operations
- Proven track record of managing strategic initiatives and driving alignment across cross-functional teams
- Strong storytelling and analytical skills, with the ability to convert data into clear insights
- Proficiency with tools like Airtable and similar project management platforms
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments and able to influence outcomes without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in the streaming, digital media, or entertainment industries
- Experience managing marketing operations in large, matrixed organizations
- Skilled at executive-level reporting and collaborating across departments (e.g., creative, media, analytics)
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business goals and shifting priorities
