Job Description
Under general supervisions, the Sr. Loan Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to portfolio management team and commercial loan participation program. The Sr. Loan Admin Specialist performs all financial tasks related to FPCU's commercial loan portfolio. In addition, the position serves as the internal and external liaison among FPCU members, other FPCU departments, and external parties such as title, escrow, loan brokers, attorneys, and credit union partners.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates initiatives and abilities to research and resolve issues
- Understands and stays abreast of changes to FPCU Policy, Procedures, NCUA, Federal and State Regulations as it pertains to Credit Unions as well as BSA laws and regulation applicable to area of responsibility
- Manages the collection and flow of financial reporting and documentation for annual loan reviews. Ensures annual review packages are complete and meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares and distributes annual loan review request letters; tracks and follows up on the receipt and status of required financial documentation.
- Accurately saves and organizes financial documents and related files within the systems, ensuring files are current, complete, and easily accessible to internal reviewers, auditors, and examiners.
- Interacts professionally with members and brokers to facilitate loan reviews, including follow-ups for missing or incomplete information.
- Supports portfolio managers in both the annual review process and the new loan origination process.
- Periodically updates system records and tracks documentation exceptions for new and existing loans.
- Responsible for facilitating FPCU's commercial loan participation process, including responding to participant inquiries, preparing participation certificates, and supporting loan pool sales and related activities.
- Prepares and maintains the accuracy of covenant tickler and loan review tickler reports.
- Prepares and distributes periodic portfolio management reports as needed.
- Addresses and resolves member concerns with minimal supervision.
- Takes accountability and ownership for the accuracy and quality of work
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the goals of the department and the Credit Union.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five years of commercial/business lending experiences required
- College degree in business, finance, or related fields; or equivalent experience

The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
