Job Summary - We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Sr. Legal Receptionist to join the reception and hospitality team at a prominent law firm. This is a dual-role position providing coverage at the main reception desk and supporting conference room and hospitality operations. The ideal candidate is personable, tech-savvy, organized, and thrives in a professional legal setting. This is a temp-to-engage opportunity, with the potential for permanent placement after 2â€"3 months.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as the first point of contact at the main reception area, greeting guests and answering multi-line phones with professionalism.
- Schedule meetings using the firm†s meeting room management system.
- Place catering orders and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Assist with conference room setup and breakdown, including food and beverage service.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in kitchen/pantry areas.
- Regularly clean and maintain coffee machines and common hospitality equipment.
- Provide backup support to other office service functions as needed.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to attorneys, staff, and guests.
Required Qualifications - Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or office services, ideally in a legal or corporate environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn scheduling and facility tools quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable assisting with light hospitality tasks (no extensive lifting or standing required).
Preferred Qualifications (if any) - Experience with legal office protocols or supporting attorneys and high-level guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality coordination, including catering and meeting support.
- Prior experience using conference room scheduling tools or facility management software.
