Job Description

The Sr. Lean Consultant will play a key role in this strategic engagement with automotive client. They will hold responsibility for both managing the Transformation Consultants, and ensuring they effectively communicate for coaching with Region and Country Leaders in an assigned region on:
  • Program global standards implementation training and implementation coaching.
  • Lean methodology for service, continuous improvement, with the goal of establishing a new retail aftersales culture based on lean principles.
  • Ensuring that Region and Country leaders understand and are able to apply these lean principles and global standards effectively, by certifying them on their knowledge and market-specific implementation plan.
  • Conveying the value of lean principles in retail aftersales management, communication and coordinating region and country leader onboarding and mindset change, and coaching leaders on their implementation plan.
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of retail operations consulting or training, focused on profitability and customer experience improvement
  • At least 5 years of retail automotive experience
  • Experience implementing service process founded on lean principles
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials and conducting workshops to educate retail audiences on lean principals.
  • Experience implementing lean methodology (14 Techniques: including value stream mapping, quality at the source, 5S workplace organization, visual management, standardized work, continuous improvement, etc.)
  • Experience in change management and organizational transformation
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience operating in an international environment
  • Proven track record in target achievement (can clearly communication impact)
  • Experience in process improvement
  • English native language or proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Multi-lingual (a plus)

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive cultural change. This includes collaborating with regional lean leaders and other stakeholders to ensure consistent application of lean principles across different regions.
  • Global Perspective: Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate with diverse teams. This includes understanding and adapting to different cultural contexts and ensuring that lean principles are applied consistently across different regions.
  • Lean Methodologies: Deep understanding and practical experience with lean tools and techniques such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, Value Stream Mapping, and Visual Management. This includes the ability to implement these methodologies effectively in retail service environment.
Process Improvement: Strong skills in analyzing existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and leading initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. This involves using data collection and analysis to drive decision-making and implement sustainable change.
