About the Role

The Company is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer to join its Engineering Excellence team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the adoption of modern software delivery tools and practices at scale, with a focus on inspiring a culture of excellence in tech. This role is pivotal in supporting the adoption of strategic technical products and best practice enablers to improve the productivity and performance of engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, SDLC practices, and a proven track record in developing and delivering high-quality enterprise software. Key responsibilities include guiding teams in the successful transition to continuous delivery, contributing to the development of in-house tools, and supporting the adoption of DORA metrics and best practices. Applicants for this role at the company should be proficient in Java, with experience in Docker, containerization, and cloud platforms. A strong understanding of software delivery best practices, Agile methodologies, and DORA metrics is essential. Experience with Tekton, Harness, and the ability to code in Go, Python, or .NET is a strong plus. The role requires a candidate with a strong problem-solving ability, an innovative mindset, and a results-oriented approach to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be an evangelist for technological advancement, with strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in driving collaborative work in a geographically distributed environment and certifications in DevOps or related fields are also advantageous.
