The consultant needs to live near Harrisburg, PA in order to report onsite as needed.
They must be able to report for an in person interview as well.Duration: 12 + months Location: Hybrid - Must be local to Harrisburg, PA and able to report as needed. Consultants are responsible for relocation expenses. Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM Interview Process: Screening via MS Teams followed by an in person interview in Harrisburg, PA. REQUIREMENTS: Required - 8+ years - Experience with object-oriented development
- Experience working with enterprise development teams
- Experience with J2EE applications development
- Experience with relational database development
Required - 5+ years - Experience in web service design & development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) for enterprise
- Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React
- Experience with Cloud, specifically development, deployment, and management of Docker containers
- Experience in DevOps products, specifically Azure DevOps
- Experience developing web services, especially secured web services and web services with attachments
Required - 3+ years - Experience with various authentication protocols
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead in design and development of backend systems for Mobile Applications.
• Demonstrate expertise in wide range of backend systems and protocols.
• Propose comprehensive solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Create high-level estimates for requested changes to applications in inventory.
• Participate in architecting, designing and developing user interface, service tier and data tier components for enterprise Mobile Applications.
• Develop and document new, and updates to, standards, architecture, repeatable processes, and reusable components.
• Participate in project planning, including development of timelines, proposed composition, and capacity of technical teams, and leveling of resources.
• Mentor team members on Department and industry best practices for processes and standards to promote consistency and improve productivity.
• Design and create database schemas to be implemented in a range of database platforms, including DB2 and Oracle RDBMSs.
• Perform server-side code reviews of team submitted deliverables to ensure alignment with best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in the full SDLC process of Mobile Application solutions.
• Develop code deliverables utilizing Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, JDBC, SQL, and web services to be deployed via standard server instances, such as JBoss, and microservices architecture.
• Participate and provide feedback in meetings, including daily standup meetings.
• Support product deployment and product validations.
• Provide operational production incident support for applications assigned.
• Support the entire Mobile application development teams Azure cloud environment and related Azure cloud environment services, including assistance in developer IDE integrations, automations and pipeline development, binary repository management, and reporting and dashboard health monitoring of apps such as Splunk and AppInsights to ensure optimum service delivery and environment uptime.
