Location: Pittsburgh, PA-Hybrid 3 days onsite per week

Job Description:

• Markets Engineering (under Markets Engineering is FX, liquidity orchestration, etc.)
• Interest rate reimagined how to work interest rates across all LOBs.
• Features/Application: new platform build a lot of work is completed (front end) focusing on interacting with pricing calculators/APIs
• Core back end developer with some expectation to help on the front end
• Majority of day is Jira-focused.
• Required tech: Java Spring Boot
• Plus tech: Angular is a plus
• Using Spring Boot for Microservices, containerized in Docker.
• Must have strong communication skills working with both onshore and offshore team members.
• Must show Initiative and ownership will push back and ask for clarity to confirm.
• Agile environment 2 week sprints followed with sprint reviews/demos
• Test driven development is a plus (not required to have experience with BDD/Selenium)
• Not required to have hands on experience with Spark, Hadoop, etc.
• Messaging is API-based (some MQ)
• Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
