YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS BY: Key recurring areas of service include:
- Act as a liaison between carriers and billing partners, managing relationships including billing, service, SLA's, pricing, and disputes
- Work with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) on invoice processing including cost center allocations, billing information updates, and analysis of monthly invoices
- Experience in telecommunication asset management, circuit ordering, billing reconciliation, and contract terms/conditions
- Strong understanding of major Telecom Vendors' provisioning and billing processes related to services DIA, Ethernet, Broadband, VoIP, POTS, and Wireless services
- Maintain and manage circuit inventory both internally and with telecom and billing partners
- Analyze telecommunications (voice and data) services, spending, and vendor management
- Collaborate with key business partners to obtain supporting information
Telecom Financial Analysis & Forecasting: - Lead the preparation, management, and monitoring of Telecom budgets and financial forecasts
- Work with IT leaders to ensure accurate financial planning for capital & operational Telecom expenses
- Prepare financial reports for management, including financial presentations
Accounting Close: - Complete month-end accounting activities including accruals and reclasses
- Provide monthly reporting for financial period end as it relates to accruals, reclassifications, and cost center allocations
- Research variances relating to budgetary spend for Telecom/WAN
- Maintain internal analysis and respond to questions from Accounting regarding results
- Evaluate actual results vs. plan, generate internal reports, and provide explanations for significant variances
- Work with vendors to monitor aging items and resolve any issues, including escalations/discrepancies
- Help ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures
Annual Planning: - Support the Telecom department with annual business planning, including creating budgets
- Collaborate with IT leaders to identify areas of potential cost savings and optimization
- Develop and track key changes through the annual planning cycle
Contract Administration: - Review Telecom contracts (SOWs & Change Orders) for legal compliance and accounting policy alignment (e.g., capital vs. expense)
- Work collaboratively with IT, Project Management, Procurement, and Accounting teams
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: - Strong understanding of telecommunications billing, analysis, and provisioning highly desired
- Experience in telecommunication asset management, circuit ordering, billing reconciliation, and contract terms/conditions
- 5 years' experience in financial analysis, with a focus on Telecom-related projects
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present financial data in a concise and actionable manner
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in accounting, general or specific to telecommunications, is a plus
- Knowledge in Excel and Word; SAP or Ariba knowledge is a plus
The pay range for this position is $102,900.00 - $120,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
