We are looking for a proactive and skilled Sr. IT Analyst to join our team remotely for a 12-month contract. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to manage and innovate within a global firewall infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for break/fix incidents and handle service requests efficiently.
  • Manage both on-premises and cloud-based Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Participate in and coordinate large-scale network migration projects.
  • Maintain firewall policies across various domains with distinct requirements.
  • Identify and document client/user requirements.
  • Create and update procedural manuals and documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain expertise in assigned areas to achieve position goals and objectives.
  • Oversee product lifecycles and mentor team members.
  • Engineer and sustain the global firewall environment for clients, including both software and hardware.
  • Implement OSPF routing on firewalls for remote sites and data centers when required.
  • Administer Panorama, device groups, templates, and security profiles on Palo Alto firewalls.
Skills
  • Certifications such as CCSA/CCSE and/or PCNSA/PCNSE.
  • Proficiency in using automation tools like Terraform/Ansible for firewall policy and device configuration deployment.
  • Experience in writing scripts to verify firewall patching/configuration.
  • At least five years of experience in supporting routing protocols and network design.
  • Familiarity with Splunk for troubleshooting and creating data visualization dashboards.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple firewalls using MDS or Smart-1 Cloud and Panorama.
  • Experience in using Visio or similar tools for documenting network designs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse technical and personality backgrounds.
  • Experience working in a global team with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience in a maturing Agile project environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and deploy firewall policies on Check Point and Palo Alto platforms.
  • Capability to migrate multiple Check Point policies to Palo Alto environments.
