Role: Sr. Information Technology Analyst III / User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Key Responsibilities: - User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test plans.
- Execute structured and unstructured test scripts and cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the new software solution.
- Defect Escalation and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and escalate defects encountered during testing.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Maintain thorough records of issues and resolutions.
- Technical Writing:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for testing processes, test cases, and results.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Issue Tracking:
- Use issue tracking systems to log, monitor, and ensure all defects and issues are tracked from identification through resolution.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on issue status.
- Status Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular status reports on testing progress, defect resolution, and project health.
- Communicate effectively with business partners, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with development, quality assurance, and business analysts to ensure cohesive testing and implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with business partners to ensure the software solution meets their needs and expectations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing strategy.
Skills and Qualifications: - Detail-Oriented:
- Strong focus on meticulous testing and ensuring every aspect of the software is thoroughly evaluated.
- Organized:
- Ability to maintain a structured approach to testing, documentation, and issue tracking, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong technical skills with experience in SCADA systems and software development.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies is essential.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve defects and issues during testing.
Education and Experience: - Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT business systems analysis or related roles.
- Experience with SCADA systems or SCADA development is highly preferred.
