Overview

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources (HR) Partner to join our office as a member of our Regional HR team. Due to the importance of building and maintaining strong employee relationships, this is an in-office opportunity.

Responsibilities
  1. Propose solutions and engage partners in the areas of retention efforts, general ER concerns, performance management, terminations, team building, complaint/conflict resolution, and career development.
  2. Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA/CFRA and workers' compensation.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with practice staff, including office leaders and other senior leaders.
  4. Assist practice teams throughout the region to ensure high morale and the development of healthy teams.
  5. Help teams lead the integration efforts at all levels.
  6. Facilitate regional and firmwide training programs.
  7. Lead HR subcommittees that have a regional and/or firmwide impact.
  8. Serve as a benefits point-of-contact by responding to questions and educating employees on company benefit programs.
  9. Provide support, mentorship, and supervision to members of the HR team.
  10. Partner with HR Manager on annual processes like salary, class change, and annual bonus reviews.
  11. Ensure the quality of the HR team deliverables (e.g., exit interviews, HRIS data) are of the highest standards.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of related experience, including employee relations experience.
  3. Ability to travel throughout the state of California to support the needs of the region; overnight travel required occasionally.
  4. Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law.
  5. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS systems.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication, presentation, and relationship-building.
  7. Excellent organization and follow-through skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision.
  8. Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the region, as well as across the firm, to meet goals.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service.

Preferred:

• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP

Base Salary Range:

• $105,000 - $125,000
