Neos is Seeking a
Sr. Full-Stack Java Developer for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.
ONSITE - CANDIDATES IN TEXAS AREA ONLY NEED APPLY Austin, TX, 78753 Current work schedules are 2/2/1. Two days working in the office, two days working from home, and one day your choice of working in the office or from home.
However, there are talks (nothing confirmed yet) about us going into the office full time, 5 days a week.

Job Overview:
1. Working with the TCEQ IRD and user staff to develop design documents and SQL-driven screen prototypes from user requirements within a rapid turnaround cycle.
2. Assist in presenting the resultant prototype to various end user audiences to demonstrate screen content, dialog, and usability and to identify and incorporate user-requested changes as directed by the technical leader.
3. Transform the approved prototype and design into a JBoss JEE, Primefaces, JSF, EJB and Hibernate application for external users to provide external authorization application, issuance, renewal and termination support. To do this, two systems exist to allow TCEQ Users to set up permit processing data and for external facility owners and operators to request, receive, renew and terminate TCEQ operating authorization. Systems interact with other agency systems via web service, Oracle database, and proxy technologies.
4. Producing module specifications, unit test requirements, and system and integration test requirements.
5. Implementing applications in complex environments in an iterative prototype-user evaluation life cycle with later more complete functional versions accessible to select external users via the Internet to verify functional provisions and usability, including access by disabled persons and those using screen readers such as JAWS and the NVDA.
6. Developing detailed flowcharts and models, implementing specifications, and performing modifications from design reviews, prototype evaluations and assessment testing.
7. Producing running program modules, which meet TCEQ, DIR and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) specifications and standards.
8. Outlining, formatting, and producing detailed program and user documentation.
9. Performing acceptance testing and incorporating necessary changes prior to formal production release implementation.
10. Communicating and working with people of all technical levels in a team environment.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements: Candidates who do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Experience Requirements:- 8 years of experience (Required)
- Agreement to adhere to all TCEQ policies, procedures, and management directives.
- Experienced in developing Internet Web browser-based transaction and reporting applications using:
- JSF
- Hibernate
- J2EE technologies
- Experience in accessing an Oracle RDBMS 13g RAC or later database.
WORK HOURS AND LOCATION Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
