Neos is Seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Developer - AI, Data & Automation for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

This position requires candidates to be in onsite 3-5 days a week. Candidates must be LOCAL.

Position Overview:

Software Developer 3 will play a key role in supporting TxDOT's Right of Way (ROW) Division and IT business units through full-stack development, data integration, and scripting. The ideal candidate is a senior-level software developer with experience across a variety of technologies, including AI-enhanced solutions like Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake, scripting languages, database technologies, and modern reporting and automation tools. This role demands a deep understanding of software engineering practices, logical database development, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to address evolving technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and enhance complex formulas and calculation scripts across applications.

• Monitor and troubleshoot daily data load processes.

• Manage and support the rollout of new application releases, including testing and user validation.

• Collaborate with technologies utilizing Microsoft Copilot to enhance development efficiency.

• Support the development of new features and create comprehensive technical documentation for end users.

• Work extensively with Snowflake to support data storage, transformation, and reporting requirements.

• Partner with business users to expand and support e-commerce business solutions and reporting capabilities.

• Collaborate with project managers to align actuals, planning, and forecasting systems with changing business environments.

• Build and maintain VBA/Excel-based tools to support data collection, financial reporting, and planning.

• Develop and implement exports, imports, data transformations, and calculations for both ongoing operations and new business needs.

• Provide strategic input to leadership and project teams, offering innovative and practical solutions to business data challenges.
