Sr Front end Developer/Tech Lead

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Front-end Developer/Tech Lead for our client in the Airline industry. This is a 6 month contract position is located in Dallas, TX. Local candidates are preferred. Remote with quarterly onsite meeting.

W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $60-75/hr DOE

Description:

We're seeking skilled React.js front-end developers to build modern, scalable, and responsive web applications as part of a cloud-native platform. You will work closely with back-end, UI/UX, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performance user interfaces with a focus on Micro Frontend Architecture. The Tech Lead will additionally guide architectural decisions and enforce best practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Build intuitive, map-based web interfaces to visualize IoT data using Google Maps API
• Design and develop scalable Micro Frontend applications using React.js, Single SPA, and Webpack 5 Module Federation
• Integrate securely with REST and GraphQL APIs using OAuth/JWT
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
• (Tech Lead) Drive front-end architecture, code reviews, and enforce best practices across the team
• Write unit and end-to-end test cases
• Deploy applications to AWS CloudFront + S3 with support

Requirements:

Required Technical Skills:

• React.js (5+ years), strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with integrating Google Maps API and data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js)
• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture, Single SPA, Webpack 5 Module Federation
• Authentication & Authorization experience: OAuth, JWT, SSO (Ping Identity preferred)
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and building cross-browser compatible UIs
• State management using Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API
• Hands-on with REST/GraphQL API integration
• Experience working with Aurora, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

DevOps & Deployment:

• Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker for local development and deployment
• Familiarity with AWS services: CloudFront, S3,
• Experience with unit testing (Jest) and E2E testing (Cypress)

Desired Skills:

• Airline industry experience
• Familiarity with Jetstream or geospatial frameworks
• Exposure to event-driven or distributed architectures
• Experience working on real-time data processing or analytics-heavy UIs
