Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
- Orders and supervises the preparation of food items
- assigns work to and supervises food service workers in cleaning, dishwashing and related activities
- counts money received and prepares it for daily bank deposit
- Orders food and eating utensils from central kitchen
- Oversees and helps in the day to day running of the building's kitchen
Job Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFIICATIONS:
Either: a) Competion of six (6) grade; or b) Six (6) months of paid experience in the preparation of food : or, c) An equivalent combination of educaton or experience as defined by the limits of a) and b). NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates employed must attend ongoing continuing education/training as required by the Food and Nutrition Service of the United States Department of Agriculture.
