Job Title: Senior Financial ERP Systems/Data Analyst Location: Washington DC On-Site

Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is a mission-driven finance professional who will optimize financial operations while strengthening our use of technology-particularly Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT-to deliver timely, insightful information for decision-makers. Working closely with the CFO's office, the analyst will enhance system utilization, develop robust KPIs, streamline indirect-cost and payroll allocations, and elevate fund/grant reporting. The ultimate goal: a data-rich environment that maximizes resources to advance our client's inclusive health-care mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance financial system workflows to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting capabilities across the organization.

• Develop and implement KPIs for financial tracking, ensuring accurate cost per service, grant utilization, and program revenue analysis.

• Optimize financial systems to improve accounting, budgeting, and reporting capabilities, automating workflows and reducing manual processing.

• Conduct cost structure analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and scenario planning to support financial sustainability.

• Conduct payroll restructuring, designing separate payroll instances with distinct cost centers and tax IDs while ensuring compliance with tax, labor, and union regulations.

• Support data migration and testing for payroll transitions, providing staff training and post-implementation support.

• Review and refine indirect cost allocation methods for compliance with regulatory guidelines, identifying inefficiencies and recommending optimized strategies.

• Enhance fringe benefits packages by assessing employee feedback, benchmarking industry standards, and supporting provider negotiations for cost-effective improvements. Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Experience: 5 + years progressive accounting, finance, and financial systems.

• Technical: Expert Excel / Power Query, familiarity with data-visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); advanced use of Blackbaud or similar ERP (migration of Excel to ERP - automation)

• Knowledge: GAAP, fund-accounting, indirect-cost methodologies, and healthcare reimbursement basics.

• Soft Skills: Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, influential communicator, and comfortable training cross-functional audiences.

Preferred

• CPA, CMA, or MBA.

• Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or community-based health organizations.

• Prior involvement in ERP implementations or major system upgrades.

• Proficiency with Blackbaud reporting tools

• Federal grant compliance (Uniform Guidance) - preferred.

• Nonprofit or healthcare finance experience preferred.
