Position Specific Description
Our Grid Control Systems Department is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for the planning, development, application architecture, implementation, and operations of grid control systems, including Energy Management System (EMS), Distribution Management System (DMS), Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA), and Demand Side Management (DSM) systems. Development includes modifying, de-commissioning, or commissioning applications, programs, and software in compliance with national/regional standards (e.g., FERC Orders, NERC Standards).
The selected candidate will support the daily operation of the Energy Management System (EMS) including SCADA, Generation, and network applications.

- Compliant cybersecurity and protection processes.
- Strong customer relationships with internal and external customers.
- Efficient execution of work plans and related activities.
Working knowledge of Power Systems, including network topology and system modeling, is highly preferred.
