Sr Engineer - DevOps and Middleware

DevOps Claims and Middleware team provides 24x7 support of application platforms and middleware used with various Tier 1 on-prem applications such as ATLAS Regional Integration Framework (RIF), Document viewer, GENIE, Eloquence, DataCap, and AD CheckWriter. The team also provides middleware support for various Tier1 Digital Messaging applications such as CIE, IESREST, MQBridge, OTTO, and many others.

Required:

5+ years of experience with administration of RedHat products Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat on SUSE Linux v 11 or 12
5+ years of experience with IBM MQ and Advanced Message Service (MQ AMS)
5+ years of experience with SUSE 12 and Microsoft (Wndows) Server 2012 or later (system administration experience helpful)
knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, security methodologies and access management
knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems, systems software, application installation and administration
knowledge of firewalls and load balancers (F5s, Alteon) and their configuration
Understanding of DNS resolution, subnet masking, firewall concepts/processes; be able to provide guidance on requests and connection validations
experience with configuration of MQ, Apache Web Server, RedHat JBOSS, and Tomcat
experience in administration and maintenance of Linux/SLES and with utilities such as cron, and related applications on this operating system.
experience in administration and maintenance of Microsoft (Windows) Server and .NET
ability to analyze logs files on distributed platforms and be able to monitor applications using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
basic understanding of security groups, roles and Saviynt (ARC)
experience with BMC Helix (formerly Remedy) or ServiceNow.
familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
