Role Overview:
The Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, managing their employee benefits programs and ensuring client satisfaction through strategic consultation and responsive service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary client contact for a portfolio of mid to large-sized clients
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings
• Provide strategic guidance on benefits design, cost management, and compliance
• Coordinate with carriers for renewals, plan changes, and issue resolution
• Analyze client data to identify trends and recommend solutions
• Prepare and deliver client presentations for renewals and program updates
• Lead client implementation processes for new business
• Mentor junior account managers and support team development
• Stay current on industry trends, legislation, and best practices Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits account management
• Strong knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
• Excellent understanding of benefits compliance (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Experience with benefits technology platforms and HRIS systems
• Superior client service and relationship management skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant industry certifications (CEBS, GBA, RHU) preferred What Our Client Offers:
