Akkodis is hiring an EDI analyst to support one of our clients in the Healthcare industry.
Employment type: 5.5 month contract
Location: Remote (must be willing to operate out of Pacific Standard Time Zone)
Pay: $60/hr
We are seeking an experienced
EDI Reporting Analyst for a 5.5 month contract position to support regulatory compliance reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of electronic data interchange (EDI) submissions. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with DHCS and other regulatory entities and will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support operational reporting functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and well-versed in healthcare EDI standards, including HIPAA and X12 formats.
Responsibilities: - Regulatory Compliance Reporting:
- Prepare, validate, and submit EDI reports in compliance with DHCS and other regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Data Analysis & Troubleshooting:
- Analyze EDI data transmissions, identify discrepancies, and resolve errors to maintain high data integrity and prevent reporting issues.
- Operational Support & Maintenance:
- Monitor daily EDI transactions and assist in resolving technical issues to support smooth data exchanges between internal systems and external trading partners.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams, IT, and business units to support data reporting needs, respond to inquiries, and provide actionable, data-driven insights.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date process documentation and provide comprehensive knowledge transfer to the returning EDI Reporting Analyst to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the contract.
Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience: - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in EDI within a healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and X12 transaction formats.
- Experience with SQL and QNX is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
