We are seeking a skilled Sr. Division Order Analyst to oversee the setup and maintenance of well ownership records for both operated and non-operated assets. This position plays a vital role in evaluating title documentation, lease agreements, pooling arrangements, and marketing contracts to determine ownership and ensure accurate recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will manage new and existing ownership data and maintain ongoing communication with both royalty and working interest owners.
Key Responsibilities
- To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to consistently perform the following duties, along with any additional tasks or projects assigned:
- Interpret title opinions, contracts, and leases to establish ownership and maintain interest records in active wells
- Validate and obtain curative documents necessary for division order title verification
- Create and update ownership decks for revenue and joint interest billing, manage ownership transfers, and process changes based on recorded documentation
- Ensure data accuracy within the BOLO land management system
- Act as a point of contact for mineral owners, attorneys, landmen, and internal departments on ownership-related matters
- Maintain high attention to detail in all documentation and record maintenance
- Collaborate effectively with various departments on cross-functional land issues
- Support additional initiatives as directed by leadership
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent industry experience required
- 7-15 years of experience in Division Order analysis is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with P2/IFS and BOLO systems
