TERI is completing the transformational TERI Campus of Life, an active campus for individuals with developmental disabilities and expanding the development team in an exciting, critical phase of the agency's growth.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Sr Director of Philanthropy to join the TERI Development team at the TERI Campus of LIfe located in San Marcos, CA. This executive positioni will lead a cohesive team of major gift officers launching the Final Phase $55M Capital Campaign to complete this 20-acre resource for both the special needs community and the general public.
Qualifications
- 5+ years Experience in highly relational major gift fundraising
- Must have demonstrated Development Team leadership and 6-figure gift results
- Must demonstrate successful results in previous multi-million dollar Capital Campaigns
- Proficiency in Prospect Research, Donor Development, and Portfolio Management
- Strong skills in Stewardship and relational fundraising
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in the special needs community is a plus
- Bachelor's degree, AFP certs or CFRE a plus
