Senior Director, Social Media & Branded Content
Location: Remote
Duration: 4- months (coverage for maternity leave)
Our client, in the financial services and technology space, is looking for a forward-thinking, creative leader to take the reins of their social media and branded content efforts. As Senior Director, Social Media & Branded Content, you'll shape their voice across platforms, lead a talented team, and build meaningful connections with audiences-internally and externally. You Will:
• Drive the brand's social presence-organic, paid, and influencer-driven-across all major platforms.
• Develop and lead social and branded content strategy from concept to execution, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and brand identity.
• Oversee influencer partnerships and external agencies to co-create compelling, on-brand content.
• Partner with customer service and PR to manage engagement, respond to issues, and turn feedback into opportunity.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure content supports business goals, amplifies key campaigns, and elevates executive visibility.
• Leverage analytics to monitor performance, fine-tune strategy, and drive growth.
• Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform updates, and content formats to keep us innovative and culturally relevant.
• Mentor a high-performing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
You Have:
• 10+ years in marketing, social media, and content, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep experience in social strategy, community building, and content development (visual and written).
• Strong grasp of analytics tools, content management systems, and platform-specific best practices.
• Proven ability to grow audiences, craft compelling narratives, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience managing crises and shaping reputation through social channels.
• Collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• A pulse on pop culture, emerging tech, and the evolving social media landscape.
