The Senior Director of Global Compensation will lead the design, implementation, and management of our global compensation strategy across diverse markets. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in compensation practices, global market trends, and the ability to drive equity and fairness across our expansive workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global compensation strategy that aligns with organizational goals and promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market assessments and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive pay structures in alignment with local and global compensation trends.
- Program Design: Oversee the design and implementation of compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, equity awards, and other incentives that drive performance and align with business objectives.
- Executive Compensation: Manage the development and administration of executive compensation programs inclusive of developing materials for the quarterly Compensation Committee Meetings.
- Internal Equity and Compliance: Ensure fair and equitable compensation practices across all regions, conducting regular audits to uphold compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Collaboration: Partner with regional HR leaders and business units to tailor compensation programs that meet specific market needs while maintaining global consistency.
- Data Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics and reporting tools to provide insights into compensation trends and effectiveness, driving data-informed decisions.
- Communication: Develop clear communication strategies to articulate compensation philosophies and programs to employees and stakeholders globally.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a global compensation team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in global compensation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 3+ years of executive compensation experience. Proven experience managing compensation programs in a multi-country environment, preferably in a large-scale organization. Experience managing in a matrixed organization.
- Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of global compensation trends, practices, and regulatory considerations.
- Analytical Expertise: Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in HRIS and compensation management tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
