Job Summary

The Sr. Digital Optimization analyst is responsible for leveraging data (primarily website and app) to analyze user behavior and monitor the performance of our digital experiences across key touchpoints in the user journey. This role focuses on driving incremental improvement and growth by enhancing user experiences, boosting content engagement, improving conversion, and increasing revenue growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer experience, has a talent for data storytelling, and can present actionable insights to inform digital experience strategies.

Essential Functions
  • Provide analytical support for strategic and tactical initiatives, which may include creating models, defining methodology, determining variables, sourcing data (web, app, marketing, survey, customer/sales), validating data, analyzing risk, and providing succinct recommendations.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our data warehouse and play an active role in planning for future marketing data needs.
  • A/B testing website campaigns, analyzing key digital metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase web and app engagement and conversion performance.
  • Developing and presenting learnings from your analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards, data visualizations, and survey and website performance reports.
  • Monitoring and analyzing digital behavior and marketing trends.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with colleagues, managers, and senior leadership.
Competency
  • 5+ years of experience working with hospitality brands at a leading consultancy, agency, or in-house marketing team
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics tools such as Digital Analytics (Google 360, Adobe), heat mapping tools (i.e., HotJar, Quantum, Metric, or ClickTale)
  • Strong knowledge of Optimization tools from strategy through analysis (Adobe Target, Optimizely, Monetate, or CrazyEgg)
  • Comfortable navigating large datasets and a demonstrated willingness to get your hands dirty with internal reporting tools (BigQuery, Salesforce, Point of Sale data, and Excel)
  • Design and analysis experience is required, including demonstrated ability to analyze and visualize data via visualization solutions such as Tableau (preferred), Domo, or Power BI
  • Exceptional at finding trends in the data, articulating the "so what," and translating insights into strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations
  • Independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
Expected Hours of Work
  • The position is full-time/hybrid
  • Occasional international travel
