The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on a
Sr. Product Owner to lead an agile development team which sits in our Post Sales and Operations- InsurTech value stream (aligned to external API partner connections) within the Retirement Plan Services business. In this role, you will join a value stream product team and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing a product backlog focused on improving API based connectivity related to key payroll and distribution data (Payroll 360, Plan & Participant Data exchange). You'll work in close partnership with product management to understand customer and business needs and then translate those needs within agile software engineering teams to implement solutions and drive outcomes that contribute to the success of our portfolio.
What you'll be doing - Leading the implementation and integration of improvements to customer-facing and third party (partner) facing digital solutions
- Defining User Stories that will be implemented by an Agile software development team
- Continuously prioritizing the product backlog to ensure that the Agile software development team is focused on the highest value work
- Coordinating with other Product Owners and team members to manage dependencies across teams
- Partnering with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand customer and business needs and current or emerging trends to refine the longer-term roadmap
- As needed, performing business analyst and QA support
What we're looking for Must-haves: - 3 - 5+ Years of experience in Product Ownership / Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or other Agile-related role within a development team that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Understanding of API data exchange and/or experience within Retirement Plan Services industry (recordkeeping, payroll, plan/participant data)
- Proven track record as a strong collaborator and communicator
Nice-to-haves: - Experience with agile operating frameworks
- Experience with JIRA or similar workflow management tools
- Product Owner or other Agile certification(s) (CSPO, PSPO)
- Familiarity with Defined Contribution retirement plan record keeping systems (i.e TRAC/Smartdesk, RS/XNET, CORE)
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Experience/familiarity with group benefits

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
