Responsibilities - Support the migration of dbt models from Redshift and Snowflake to Trino (Iceberg)
- Fix SQL syntax issues in dbt models
- Version control dbt models using Git
- Refactor and optimize data models for Iceberg best practices
- Ensure data sources for Tableau align with new infrastructure
- Collaborate and validate migration impacts with workbook owners
- Participate in daily standups and coordinate migration priorities with the engineering team
Qualifications - BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a data engineering, BI, or analytics role
- 2+ years of experience in financial services and/or SaaS companies
- Experience with dbt and modern data modeling best practices
- Experience in startup environments is a plus
