We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data Engineer with expertise in Java to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 7 to 9 years of experience and a strong background in Control-M Batch Operations, Scala, Python, Spark, and Azure Databricks.
This hybrid role requires a dedicated professional who can contribute to our innovative projects and drive impactful solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java to meet project requirements and client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable geospatial solutions.
- Utilize Control-M Batch Operations to manage and automate batch processing workflows.
- Implement data processing pipelines using Scala, Python, and Spark to handle large geospatial datasets.
- Leverage Azure Databricks for advanced data analytics and machine learning tasks.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of geospatial applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to geospatial data and applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
- Participate in project planning and provide accurate time estimates for development tasks.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
