Sr Data Engineer (AWS)

Location - Downtown Chicago - 3 days onsite

Duration: 7+ month contract w/extension

Interview Process - 1 hour technical interview

Team/Overview

- 6 people including management;

- Marketing team under card, main platform owners

o Work w/Java, Tableau teams as well

- Support integrations between different systems (Marketing tool is Salesforce Marketing cloud)

- Get data from upstream systems and push data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud

- Support different LOBs besides card

Preferred Qualifications and Tech Stack

- Python

- pySpark

- Cloud Services (AWS preferred)

- Git

- CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)

- Using Apache Airflow for orchestration

- Unit testing using pytest

- AWS EMR now, moving to AWS Glue

- Agile Methodologies

- Deploying ETLs
