In this role Client is looking for a leader with technical skills who is able to manage a small team of individuals, handle multiple projects, and also able to have the technical ability to be in the weeds day to day to assist their team.
Job Description:
Providing Solution Architecture and Roadmap for the design/development teams working with product and program management on the enterprise priorities in this new initiative.
Review and understand data requirements for Enterprise wise operations and application , with a special emphasis on projects focused Cloud migration for Enterprise Data warehouse and Lake create and support reporting, analytics and data warehousing.
Must have Cloud platform exposure - AWS, Azure, GCP or Openstack
Experience with data builds (Snowflake, AWS), data integration (Databases, ETL, Informatica, Matillion, Snowflake, AWS), data testing (Informatica, Matillion, Snowflake, AWS)
Collaborate with business and IT partners to refine and document system data requirements.
Perform data analysis activities including data profiling, creation of data dictionaries, data transformation rules and integration requirements.
Capture business requirements and rules, design the associated logical models, and create all required documentation to support, communicate, and validate the data model.
Design, build and maintain the logical and physical data models to support the business requirements in a dynamic, expanding business environment.
Publish and conduct model reviews with business and technical project teams.
Support and apply data standardization policies.
Design and implemented ETL packages for extracting data with minimal latencies for real time reporting various on-prem and cloud technologies such as MS SSIS, Informatica, AWS Glue, Data Bricks
Perform Build vs Buy analysis on Newer tools and technologies including Proof of concept and tool selection.
Develop multiple OLTP & Data warehousing applications.
Architect, design, implement, manage and support OLTP, OLAP/ Warehouse Database and Business Intelligence Solutions
Write complex SQL queries using joins, sub queries and correlated sub queries to retrieve data from the database.
Maintain documentation of data models, including relationships, constraints, and metadata.
Review database design changes with the team to determine the impact to the physical database and other systems.
Coordinate with the development/implementation team to improve model formats and approaches with regard to implementation issues.
Participate in performance tuning activities including partitioning strategies, indexing strategies, and SQL optimization.
