Solar Construction Manager/Owners Rep
Must have 5+ years Solar Construction Manager Experience on the owners side
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure alignment with company goals, client expectations, and industry best practices
- On-Site Management: Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, including solar panel installation, electrical work, and infrastructure development. Ensure work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of on-site personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements. Optimize resource utilization to achieve project milestones efficiently
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that solar installations meet design specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and address any deviations
- Health and Safety: Uphold a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting safe work practices. Conduct safety meetings, drills, and training sessions to minimize risks
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project communications. Maintain open and effective communication channels with project teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address any on-site challenges or obstacles that may impact timelines, safety, or quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
- Budget Management: Monitor on-site expenditures, track costs, and manage budget variances. Ensure adherence to financial plans and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, change orders, and approvals. Ensure documentation is organized and readily accessible for reference
- Performance Tracking: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure on-site progress and success. Regularly report on KPIs to senior management and adjust strategies as needed
