Job Title: Sr. Configuration Analyst - Medicaid Implementations

Location: Mason, OH - On-site position

Duration : 12+ months contract with possible extension

Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Years of Experience: 6-11 years

Job Summary:

  • This role focuses on configuration (60%) and participation in cross-functional meetings (40%) to capture and represent requirements.
  • The ideal candidate can lead or represent cross-functional meetings and play a key role in building, troubleshooting, and prototyping Medicaid products. Responsibilities include capturing business requirements, executing testing, and providing support for multiple Medicaid program implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Senior Configuration Analyst within the Business Configuration Solutions team.
  • Design, implement, and execute member benefit configuration strategies.
  • Lead configuration-related projects that support system and process solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for configuration across Medicaid, Med/Surgical, and Medicare government implementations.
  • Conduct data analysis and troubleshooting using automated configuration tools.
  • Perform data preparation by removing duplicates, errors, and outliers; validate data using SQL queries.
  • Document requirements and process flows; execute testing for configuration enhancements.
  • Prioritize work independently to meet service level agreements and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership on configuration roadmap initiatives, enabling automation and scalability.
  • Provide fit/gap analyses and feedback assessments for new client implementations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years working with the Facets platform, benefit configuration, provider networks, and government programs (Medicare/Medicaid).
  • Technical: Proficiency in SQL and database concepts; strong data validation and query-building skills.
  • Tools: Experience with automation tools and configuration platforms; Oracle SQL and Facets for testing.
  • Domain: Solid understanding of healthcare claims, Medicaid/Medicare configuration, and benefit structure.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with Informatica or similar automation/configuration tools.
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities and complex environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
