Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer for our premier client. This is a full-time, direct hire role that is 2-days in-office in any of the above locations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cloud leader to drive Azure infrastructure strategy and mentor a growing team.

TalentFish is seeking a Principal Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency in Microsoft Azure. This role requires close collaboration with software architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with company goals and drive seamless cloud adoption. Additionally, this position includes mentoring and skill development to foster team growth.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
Technical Skills:
  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in a Principal or Senior role with cloud platform ownership.
  • Expertise in managing and supporting multiple Azure tenants and subscriptions.
  • Strong networking skills, integrating Azure cloud infrastructure with on-premise data centers.
  • Experience with AWS is considered if candidate can transition their expertise to Azure.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise with Bicep, ARM, and/or Terraform.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated cloud deployments.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or ELK.
  • Hands-on experience managing Azure security features including Entra, RBAC, PIM & PAM, NSG, and Azure Firewall.
  • Kubernetes or other containerization experience is a plus.
Non-Technical Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented, collaborative, and customer-focused.
  • Proven experience mentoring and coaching team members.
  • A principle-centered approach to architecture; balancing technical solutions against objective requirements rather than personal preference or hierarchy.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a broad perspective beyond IT.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
