Business Systems Analyst - Risk Derivatives Reporting & Analytics

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to play a key role in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for our Risk Derivatives Reporting, Analytics, and Data Warehouse solutions. You'll collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders to ensure the seamless implementation of reporting and data-driven solutions that empower decision-making in a fast-paced financial environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Gather and document business requirements for Risk Derivatives Reporting and Analytics, including designing wireframes and data models that support front and back-office teams.
  • Work closely with Data Warehouse analysts to design scalable, high-performance data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical specifications that guide development teams.
  • Conduct deep data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lead meetings and workshops, using your sharp analytical skills to uncover underlying requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and support reporting and data warehouse solutions to ensure smooth operations.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives trading and risk management, including options, futures, swaps, and forwards.
  • Experience with self-service reporting and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects) and knowledge of data structures that support these tools efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience with data warehousing tools (e.g., RDBMS, Data Lakes).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in risk management and derivatives trading.
