POSITION SUMMARY

The business analyst collaborates with Sunrise Bank's business lines and technical teams to capture requirements, map critical processes, and understand technology needs. The position acts as a bridge between IT and the business, furthering efficient partnership in pursuit of the organization's strategic goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Planning related to the tasks associated with business analysis and the software development lifecycle.
  • Perform risk assessments including identifying, tracking, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in managing projects and documenting requirements as user stories.
  • Manage and track requirements across work efforts.
  • Identify current organizational capabilities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously refine and improve business and IT processes for efficiency gains.
  • Communicate business line needs with IT regarding implementation, system enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Lead the work effort to ensure business operations & processes are prepared for system changes, training, SOP's.
  • Participate in the organization's QA process including defining and executing test scenarios.
  • Communicate issues that impact the daily operations & provide updates on resolution.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

College degree or technical school certification in a related field is preferred.

Five (5) years Business Analysis experience required.

Experience in the financial industry preferred.

Experience working on Agile projects required.

Superior skill set in the use of Microsoft Office preferred.

Experience with SQL Queries to produce reports preferred.

Experience with using Change, Control and Release Management best practices required.

Deep Analysis skills and ability to convert analysis to deliverables (process flows, data flows, user stories, Business Case, Problem Statements) required.

Proven ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines required.

Superior attention to detail required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annualized salary range: $70,000 - 120,000 annually, dependent on qualifications.
