This role supports the intersection of legal and business operations by reviewing contracts and legal documents to extract and translate key obligations into actionable business requirements. The individual helps ensure contractual and regulatory commitments are operationalized effectively, supporting internal compliance, process integrity, and risk management.

Job Duties -

• Review and interpret a variety of legal agreements, including vendor contracts, customer agreements, and regulatory documents

• Translate legal terms and obligations into clear, concise business requirements and workflows

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Operational teams to support implementation of contractual commitments

• Assist in managing contract-related data, tracking obligations, and identifying potential risks or gaps in execution

• Support process improvements and documentation efforts related to contract compliance and regulatory adherence

Job Requirements -

• 6+ years' experience technical business analyst experience is a software development environment

• 3+ years' experience with legal documents, ie paralegal or contracts

• Strong understanding of contract structures, legal terminology, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements, translating them into user stories for technical teams. Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Ability to lead requirements gathering meetings effectively and keep the discussion moving in the right direction when the team goes on off track

• Ability to drive conversation with business owners to determine and accurately document requirements

• Strong ability to create documentation that can be accessed and followed by any involved individual within the organization

• Experience working in an iterative development model
