Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr Budget Analyst to support a newly awarded program supporting DoD's Space Sensing Financial Management in El Segundo, CA. The team is seeking an individual with the ability to provide a broad range of financial management support to a mission critical and high-visibility DoD Space portfolio. Responsibilities of the Sr Budget Analyst: Develop, train, brief, integrate, correlate, and analyze various phases of PPE within the DoD portfolio Activities apply to the development of the POM, budget exhibit preparation, staffer day briefings, analysis reporting, spring program review, investment budget review, PMRs, POM, and PPBE. Review program documents for compliance with relevant statutes, regulations, policies, and standards at various levels (military, federal, state, local, contractual, commercial, or international) Report and brief government officials on findings Provide PT support, acquisition program reporting, cashflow management, and acquisition review. Provide support to program leadership and execute acquisition financial management and funds management. Build staff packages, comprehending and applying concept/guidance, effectively implementing instructions/polices into routine performance; .Qualifications of the Sr Budget Analyst: Masters and 10 years of financial management, budget analysis, and acquisition experience, Bachelors and 14 years of experience required (DoD Aerospace financial management required) 5-years of experience supporting aerospace programs with financial analysis and budgeting Proficient with standardized and specialized software applications, including: Microsoft Office, GAFS, MOCAS, FM-Suite, WAWF, Electronic Document Access (EDA), Standard Contract Reconciliation Tool (SCRT), Shared Data Warehouse (SDW), CCaR, CRIS, Live Link, Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS), or their replacement Accounting and Finance system(s). 8 years or more shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs - AFSPC or SSC experience a plus. 5 yrs or more with CCAR, 3 yrs or more FM Suite and WAWF, 5 yrs or more with MS Office.
